This is not my first read by the author but it is a first official review! The blurb is what got me on this one, and I wanted to read it pretty bad! Who doesn't love a notorious playboy that's being cut down by a sassy and smart heroine!
When Eileen meets Jason at the reception, she is shocked that he even would notice her. Then when he talked to her, she couldn't get enough UNTIL he arrogantly tried to hit on her (so much for the nice voice when they talked guy). Luckily for Eileen she is smart enough to know, no thanks. P.s. her parents are ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL! YUK!
I love the banter and foreplay they have between one another. He tries to help but usually ends up being, well, a MALE! *shaking head* they both have a family pest in common, two to be exact so being there for one another comes easy, because they can relate. Eileen has a lot more to learn about her self and her self-esteem, but Jason (you will grow to love him) see's so much more in her. The beauty, the brains...
The sexy scenes are steamy and beautiful. Jason is alpha but not too, and Eileen is learning a lot about herself. It's quiet beautiful to see them together!! But just like everything, it has to come to an end. After-all it's just until the wedding day, what then Eileen things to herself...I hate HATE her parents to much, especially her sister (to a point)& I want to say that even though Playboy Ken-Jason is arrogant he can be very sweet and swoon worthy! When he isn't thinking too much. The secrets that come out in this, the little mystery and of course Eileen's birthday (loved that scene!) I really enjoyed this book & the story line. The characters were relatable and the words flowed easy.
