Not my first read, RVD is one of my top favorite authors! I also have read Book #1 in this series!!
Matt is a high profile sports agent and Parker a reckless and wild soccer player. Professionally they are put together to co-exist. One does one thing and the other, well she does whatever she wants to do, after last year and the drama she is not ready to trust or play nice again. THE SEXUAL TENSION in this, i mean fine line between going crazy and being crazy! GAH!! Lot's of banter, laughter, SO MUCH SWEET ROMANCE and easy read! It is a book to just sit, relax and enjoy!! The plot itself is much more and touches up on issues that heck, I even struggle with to this day!
Originally the offer Matt gives was to Willow (his sister) who also is Parker's best friend, in which that offer extended to her as well. So here they all are, Willow who is a little manipulative at times and a little rough on the edges, Parker and Matt...under one roof for the summer. What can go wrong? Parker is a DREAM! Handsome, intelligent, sweet and romantic, protective...all the best qualities you can ask for in a hero. Then why is Parker wanting to blow this?
I enjoyed this easy read and highly intense story! As always, RVD's writing is superb and the way her words flow when you read, like being in the story. One of the best parts about her books! You will get a 'kick' out of this book! (get it, kickin'...kick? lol)
