Not my first read by the author. And now breathe with me...in...and...out...I was so excited to read Book #2 that I started at the ARC for a good 7 minutes before I started. Excitement and fear, great combo!
Well don't expect me to tell you what CHAPTER ONE page 1 says!! So moving on past that, I have to say that I was expecting the unexpected after that book #1 ending, I really don't know where to start with this review without giving away too much! What I will say is that EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED, because I was also not ready for the first few pages on this book! Gah, my heart! *sigh* as they venture off to as planned...
The agony of wanting..no..needing to know the truth his killing me with this book, my heart keeps shattering as they proceed to where they were originally headed to do. The tension, chocking silence between them...UGH!!! But a man like Hunter does not go back on his word so, a promise is a promise!
Just prepare for a lot of anticipations, agony, pain, romance thrown in there, suspense and action! It hurts me not to just blur it out but I honestly, YOU NEED TO READ BOOK #1 and as far as this one goes! WHOA, nothing what I thought and drove me nuts and also healed my shattered heart all at the same time. Kennedy Fox ladies really know how to pull at strings! Ugh, the worse part is..the truth WILL NOT SET YOU FREE in this one! You ladies might have actually killed me with this, I almost jumped to the end to make sure I don't end!!
