Not my first read by HJ Bellus! Actually, one of my very firsts reads, many moons ago. The beginning of this story will have you feeling warm, swooning and so romantic in a younger version way. It was beautiful to be exact. Then it runs into a heartbreak of many sources including one that i would have never guessed would happen wow! Hold on to your heart on 18%
When a regret turns into an almost tragedy, Bertie does the right thing. Now they are in for an adventure that no one saw coming. I love Bertie and Cody, not Junior but Cody! (You'll get it when you read the book!) The story line is great, the breaks between then and now are flawless and each character was amazing. I don't want to give out too much but this SECOND-CHANCE romance was just right!!
I am rating this a HIGH 5 PLUS & WOULD RECOMMEND IT! Because it's so unique it's a MUST RE-READ & definitely made it on my TOP 2019 MUST READS!
