Roxy: Perfect. I have a pair of aviator shades, and I'll wear them too, no matter how dark it is. That's how a bodyguard should dress, right?
Miles: Ideally, security detail should wear a black suit, but somehow, I think you'd look better in a dress. More incognito. Especially if it's a short one. You could still handle bodyguard duties in an extra-short dress, right?
Roxy: Hmm. I'm getting the feeling you like short dresses. :) Any request for the color of my incognito super-short bodyguard dress?
Miles: Sheer?
Roxy: One-track mind.
Miles: Nude?
Roxy: *rolls eyes*
Miles: Nude is a color. you can;t deny I chose a color.

That has to be THE BEST proposition a man could offer to a woman. I fell in love with this story from the get go. Without giving a spoiler alert, 1. I freaking loved it so much! 2. I want to be a dog in my next lifetime please! Funny, sizzling (in all the right places) and so sweet. I love a musician hero that is alpha, masculine and a single dad, can't go wrong with MILES HART! So swoon worthy! Roxy is a woman who knows what she wants, strong and yet so vulnerable, truly loved her too. The best part was Mile's son Ben haha this kid: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Nope. You're a chicken magnet." A laugh burst from my gut. "Where did you learn that word>" His young face turns resolute. "I heard Ally and Uncle Miller say that about you. They said you're a chicken magnet. That's why ladies are always talking to you.
