This is a NEW to me author & books! I was pleasantly surprised when I received a paperback & so the fun begun! Also I go a cute little plush piglet to go with it!
Cecilia 'CC' has been the personal assistant to Wade Carter for a little over 5 years. She is at his beck and call and I mean she has done some weird things for him. But the day has come, not soon enough where she is financially stable to MOVE ON. And by move on it means for her to go and actually MOVE and do what she has always wanted to do. Wade knows this but when his dad falls sick, he decides that moving back home would be perfect. Be close to his father and family and also be in the piece and quiet to write his book about his life. So what does he do, MAKES his lovely CC move with him, even after she said a hard NO, she finally agreed when he gives her an offer she can't refuse.
So here they are, back in Wade's hometown & she is feeling all sorts of out. Not only is the town small but the people are all 'i know you' types. This is where the FARM PORN comes in. Talk about cuteness and hotness all in one. The Carter family raises pig's, and when there are piglets and a half naked former NFL player in the picture...*ovaries explode* but they have never crossed the line. Until, one night! Damn you tequila! After the lines has been crossed things get shaky but even out, until well the end road, I mean after all she only agreed to 3 months and now it will be cut short because of her family problems. The cross-road is a blessing and a curse...which will they take? Well ya gotta read it to find out! Surprisingly interesting ending!
This was a little okay not new because I've read this kind before but been a while since I've read in the 3rd person and there is also Wade's little brother involved that gets a POV. The story line is great, words flowed smoothly and transitions perfect. The sex scenes were scorching hot and sexy!! All in all for a first read, I really enjoyed this book!
