MacKenzie Decker was a question Avery never got to ask, much less answer. They met when she was a young reporter fueled by ambition, and the ink on Deck's first NBA contract was barely dry. Years later, they've climbed so high and lost so much, but one thing hasn't changed. The attraction that simmered between them in a locker room before is still there. With success like theirs, everything has been possible . . . except them. But that was then. The only question is...what about now?

"I'm dripping wet and almost naked the first time I meet Avery Hughes."

"We should grab a drink," he says, "Or something."

REVIEW

Kennedy Ryan is NOT my first anything, I do love her books very much!

I have to say that the beginning of this book, I LOVED SO MUCH! Poor Avery, and not to mention the every so sexy DECKER and that teeny-tiny towel!

When a tiny incident occurs in the locker room and Avery ends up never living it down, until many years late...10 YEARS LATER only brings back those memories.

Decker is going to be side by side with Avery again, doing something they both are passionate about. Except Avery needs this more than he does. When he officially apologizes for the town incident, Avery can breathe a little better.

Decker has NO IDEA how much power he holds over Avery!

Also, HOLY MOTHER OF STEAMY SCENES! *applauding*

The secret that Avery is holding in, is unfortunately common and broke my heart. I am so happy she got to connect back with Decker. Ladies beware, this might be a short read but it has everything in it. Surprises, passion, love and sassy.

FIVE STAR for this, and I recommend reading.
