BOOK REVIEW -> Dear Jane by Kendall Ryan

I broke her heart ten years ago and left town.

She hates me, and rightly so. It doesn’t matter that the rest of the country loves me, that I’m a starting quarterback with a multimillion-dollar contract. Because when I look in the mirror, all I see is a failure who was too young—and too afraid—to fight for what I wanted.

But I’m not that guy anymore, and all I need is one shot to convince her.

***

He has no idea what happened after he left. And now I’m supposed to work alongside him like we don’t have this huge, messy history?

But I’m older now, wiser, and I won’t let anything stand in my way of doing a good job for this league. Not even one overpaid, arrogant player who thinks we’re going to kiss and make up.

News flash, buddy: I am over you.

REVIEW

** spoiler alert **

I'm always a sucker for sport romance. It was not what i was expecting, the time setting was a but younger than my reading i do. I have to be honest and that's the reason i am giving this a 4 and not 5 stars. I was a bit irritated with Jane, she was a bit immature for my liking. Weston was a typical idiot male (that's normal haha all men even in the books are idiots) 🤦‍♀️ I wanted a little more 🤯 regarding the pregnancy i guess, i needed a bit more emotion with that. Other wise, the STORY was sweet, 10 years gab didn't stop them from still being in love with each other. The beat part was the presentation Weston held for Jane 😁 silly man. I guess I'm just feeling a bit conflicted and have to stay true to my honest ratings. I've read enough of Kendall ryan's books to be thrown off with this one. I would still recommend it because who doesn't love a beautiful sexy as sin football player!! 🏈
