BOOK REVIEW -> Bulldozer by P. Dangelico

COMING: N O V E M B E R 12th

Amanda Shaw has pulled it together. It’s taken a couple of years, a boatload of hard work, and a ton of self-discipline, but she finally has her problems in a headlock. Her yoga studio in the city has become so successful she’s opening one near the beach, and her relationship with her ten year old son is improving every day. The last thing she needs is a monkey wrench thrown into her smoothly running life.

Grant Hendricks is one big monkey wrench. The four time Defensive Player of the Year, three time NFL sack leader, and all around football god has officially hit rock bottom. A devastating back injury means he may have to retire and that scares him more than doctors telling him the next hit could leave him paralyzed. All he needs is a quiet place to think and his teammate’s beach house sounds like just the place. Problem is, the woman already living there.

"He's drop dead gorgeous when he isn't impersonating the Grim Reaper, radiating the kind of razzle-dazzle that makes people want to bask in his glittery light, roll around and smoother themselves with it." _Amanda

"I want you," I say breathless. "You're all I want. I never let myself want anything. But I want you."

-Amanda

""Baby--" He shakes his head. "You had me from the get-go. I was yours the minute you bulldozed your way into my life." -Grant

REVIEW

This is the best surprise I got from a new author and book I’m reading. I was a bit nervous but not even 2 pages in, the writing was amazing. It continued as I read on but what caught my attention was the way the words seem to flow, it’s a key thing I look for because it makes the story so much better, enough of anticipation, info and words that collide well. I think I might have fallen in love with Grant the moment he stood buckeye naked in the kitchen by the fridge drinking milk. Athletes and naked, yeah they go well together I think. When poor Amanda came upon that, well for one she couldn’t miss the good gifts god graced him with but surprise, she was never told by her stupid idiot brother that one of his teammates was staying at the beach house also. Do they all get along? Yes and no, Yes because Sam Amanda’s son and Grant do…oh and the dog but Amanda and Grant, not so much. Amanda ends up going on a date with a dude-bro guy, whole Grant shows up at the same restaurant with two girls. Shocker, right! Why cant men just, oh I don’t know realize their shit sooner and fess up. When a almost tragedy happens, Grant comes to realization and Amanda doesn’t take too long after. What happens when your son takes a 2 week leave to his dads on the other side of the country? You're left with Grant who recreates your prom. Oh and the steamiest sex , of course. I already loved the book starting off but ending it, can I not? Makes me happy to read a new book from a new author (to me) and it turning out to be something I tend to read and really enjoyed it. ☆☆☆☆☆ hands down!!
