Nova Lane is having the worst week possible. Her latest relationship ended while on her much-needed vacation, then upon her first day back at work, she learns that her beloved boss has quit – and despite having worked so hard for it, she’s not being considered for his position.
Who is being considered for the position is none other than Kessler Rocha. Now Nova and Kessler have the choice to let bygones be bygones, or fight with each other every chance they get, with unresolved sexual tension only adding fuel to the flames, creating a fire that might just burn down the whole office. In the corporate world they say it’s just business, nothing personal.

I am so happy to have found this, I had so much fun reading it! Also happen to also have the paperback which is always a plus to me!!
Now when Nova's boss decides to elope with a woman,and she is not considered for the position immediately but rather a replacement is flown in...no other than her ex-boyfriend Kessler Rocha and the mad who not broke her heart but shattered it!
The hardest part aside from trying to maintain professional is all the thoughts that linger back to the days, and her still raw feelings for Kessler.
Kessler has other ideas and accept a 3 month probation position in part to be closer to "the one that got away". Having gone through life and accepting that his bachelor days were long gone, he will try anything to get Nova back.
The coolest part is that this is happening in Hawaii. I keep reading about books that occur in Hawaii only makes me want to go there for the first time ever. Beautiful descriptions and language. This is one hot office story that will have you laughing, turning pages faster and swooning left and right!
