I never learn my lesson.

So, I have been a fan of Kandi Steiner for a while now, this is my first actual ARC REVIEW. I appreciate that I was able to receive one. And BOY WAS IT ONE! I have to first explain that age gap romance is kind of my thing. I rather enjoy it as long as the heroine is mature enough. Luckily this was one where both and most the characters are mature. Even if there is a significant age gap.
Sarah not only was mature enough but a VERY STRONG HEROINE. I loved how strong she stayed through everything. She has so much pain within her and the darkness...she just wants to find the light. Enter Reese an equal broken soul that is looking for the same. They thought they could use one another to both achieve the same goal...but sometimes going the same road doesn't mean you see it the same way.
I won't say much more because it will ruin the story, I highly suggest you read it. It's dark, passionate, so emotional and heck made me think about life in general a few times. Not to mention the fact that Reese is older but mega MEGA UBER-SEXY! I have not been more surprised to read a story where I sort of was a little scared to, but it was the best way to find out I LOVED LOVED THIS STORY!
I give this a 5 PLUS & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
