BOOK REVIEW -> We Shouldn't by Vi Keeland

N O W - A V A I L A B L E

Bennett Fox walked into my life on one hell of a crappy Monday morning.

I was late for the first day at my new job—a job I’d now have to compete for even though I’d already worked eight years to earn it, because of an unexpected merger.

While I lugged my belongings up to my new office, a meter maid wrote me a parking summons.

She’d ticketed a long line of cars—except for the Audi parked in front of me, which happened to be the same make and model as mine.

Annoyed, I decided to regift my ticket to the car that had evaded a fine. Chances were, the owner would pay it and be none the wiser.

Except, I accidentally broke the windshield wiper while slipping the ticket onto the car’s window.

Seriously, my day couldn’t get any worse.

Things started to perk up when I ran into a gorgeous man in the elevator. We had one of those brief moments that only happened in movies.

You know the deal…your body lights up, fireworks go off, and the air around you crackles with electricity.

His heated stare left me flush when I stepped off the elevator.

Maybe things here wouldn’t be so bad after all.

Or so I thought.

Until I walked into my new boss’s office and met my competition.

The gorgeous man from the elevator was now my nemesis. His heated stare wasn’t because of any mutual attraction. It was because he’d seen me vandalize his car. And now he couldn’t wait to annihilate his rival.

There’s a fine line between love and hate—and we shouldn’t cross it.

We shouldn’t—but straddling that line could be so much fun

WHEN BEST FRIEND MADISON IS GOALS!

"Why not? You know that old saying...keep your friends close and fuck the shit out of your enemies."

I laughed. "That's not exactly the saying."

WHAT A WILD AND UNEXPECTED RIDE THIS IS!! My god this was fantastic to read! Can we just praise Vi Keeland on her damn good writing?! This woman really is magic!

I went through so many emotions through this book that in the end, it was the post unexpected ending, only leaving me WANTING MORE AND MORE! GAH!

The way Annalise O'Neil and Bennett Fox met might have been traditional in sense BUT the reason is most ridiculous. Haha! I feel for you Annalise, girl feel for you. Been there done that! From the moment they met, it was a mixture of anger, passion and sizzling in the air. Annelise managed to call Bennett a asshole, try to take his job and turned him on within the first few minutes of meeting.

What comes out to be a office environment quickly turns into "playing nice" because they had to work together, turns to "maybe he isn't so bad", turns to..."should have stuck to my first thoughts about him". The hardest part was reading the meaning behind his pain, as much as I want to be angry with it, I couldn't, he wasn't broken but shattered with something left behind that would be there for always.

I'll warn you right now that there were at least a couple of times I WAS PISSED AT BENNETT, like wanted to reach through and smack him. But then i remembered men will be men ;) also, what kind of a name is 'cindy' like GET OUT!

This is a beautiful story of shattered souls in different ways yet we all hurts the same, don't we? You'll enjoy living through them int his story, I hung to every page, lived every emotion in me...it was marvelous!! Instant love for Annalise, her best friend and her crazy but awesome Mom!

BRAVO! FIVE PLUS PLUS STARS, HIGHLY RECOMMEND & TOP 2019 READ for me! p.s. WATCH OUT FOR THAT END ENDING...haha a kick, I loved it!!
